First I have to say that my “Go-To” paint manufacturers are Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. No matter what each paint manufacturer will make claim to, I go to the source – my professional painters – to tell me which brands they use over and over again.

BUT I have to admit, some of the top brand paint color apps and online programs can be awkward to use. And in my busy day, I don’t have time for awkward! So when I saw an ad for Home Depot’s FIND YOUR PERFECT COLOR App, I just had to give it a try!

Simply take a photo, or select a photo from your camera roll. Then tap on the area of the picture that you want to color match and voila – you have 3 options. Now of course, Home Depot is going to give you options from their in-store brands – but it’s a great SIMPLE way to start the color selection process.

Nowadays any of the paint suppliers can color match to another brand – so if you choose to upgrade to a different paint manufacturer (not only for quality, but finish availability) you have a color to start with. We are ALL busy people these days – especially when you are trying to work a home renovation project into your already overloaded schedule.
