Living in an historic home, like I do, gives you a different perspective on lighting – specifically candle lights – and more specifically – window candle light. When we started the renovation of our circa 1905 brick home on Broad Street in downtown historic Bethlehem, PA I noted that most residents in this district kept the “candles” in their windows lite ALL year round. Since we were upgrading all the lighting and electric in the house anyway I started to research alternatives for standard plug window sill candle lights. That’s when I discovered SILLITES! These self-contained receptacles fit into most standard window sills and eliminate the need for unsightly and cumbersome wires and plugs. Of course I have recommended these Sillites to many clients – even those who don’t live in an historic district, as holiday decorating is so much easier! Love them!
