I know what you are thinking! You can’t believe that I would recommend an electric fireplace! But this Dimplex Revillusion is NOT your grandmother’s electric fireplace! With the integration of LEDs into their designs Dimplex has, in my mind, revolutionized the old standards. Sure, nothing beats a real wood burning fireplace, but sometimes budget and logistics make the real thing impossible. So when several of my clients kept asking me for a solution to their fireplace wishlist – I decided to find a solution. The Revillusion series is one of Dimplex’s more traditional firebox options. I have also used the Synergy 50”, a more modern linear design, in a recent master bedroom renovation. Most models come in several sizes, and are available with or without heater/blowers. The LED lighting makes the flames so lifelike that I even installed one of these in my own home! Bailey loves laying in front of our “roaring” Dimplex LED fireplace, and so do I!
